For the first time the artist formerly known as Jim Avignon presents his music in front of a hodpodge audience. Assuming that his first gig would also be his last Jim tries to to outdo himself by concocting a show full of luscious sceneries, masks and 30+ songs. Meant to be a concentrate consisting of vaudeville, jump and run computer game and happening the show is really pushing the envelope...only few of the 200 audience members stick it out until the very end. Yet they all agree: that night they witness something competely new.
It takes about 6 months for Avignon to recuperate from the infamous night. But when someone asks him in the Fall of that year whether he would like to support the Berlin Poptarts at Roter Salon he accepts in a jiffy. They need a name for the poster and without thinking Avignon picks the name neoangin. At that time he is practically addicted to these big red coughdrops.
